Immediate Release Cancer Pain Medications (Actiq, Fentora, and fentanyl citrate) Discontinued

Cephalon quietly discontinued the pain drug category called TIRF (Transmucosal Immediate Release Fentanyl), which includes powerful meds to treat sudden and severe (breakthrough) cancer pain in patients already on round-the-clock opioid pain medication.
